Why we use it and some history
The Birkman was designed by Dr. Birkman 50+ years ago. He began his career as a bomber pilot and noted that during mission debriefings each person involved with the mission reported the same event very differently. It was at that point that he became intrigued with how humans assemble and interpret information. The Birkman method was developed to identify and assess peoples relationships to one another and to the work that they do.

To date the Birkman assessment has been used worldwide in over 5000 companies and with millions of people. The assessment of each individual is compared to a database sampling of over 1.5 million profiles.
